Quick take
The Lelit Anna is a single-boiler espresso machine, and its reports cover the PID version (PL41TEM) and the Anna 2. Owners love it: one household has used theirs daily for over five years without issues, and upgraders from De'Longhi and other entry machines call its value and boiler steaming a treat. The hesitation is early reliability, with several units developing heating, pump or valve faults in their first months, plus the single-boiler wait between shot and steam.
Compact single-boiler espresso machine, offered with a PID in the PL41TEM version.

The PID does not rule out heating faults, though: one brand-new PL41TEM ran far above its 93 °C setpoint, and on another Anna a reset via the PID button did not fix a boiler that would not get hot (both in the complaints above). An owner who has run a PL41TEM for a while is still missing preinfusion and wants more temperature stability and steam, and is weighing a dual boiler for that.

The praise comes from owners who upgraded to it and from a long-term household.
After upgrading from a a delonghi to a Lelit, I fell in love with espresso again After checking in with you guys I decided on a Lelit Anna and I couldn't be happier. The price was great and the performance is just what I was looking for. Steaming with a boiler instead of a thermoblock is a real treat to me. I'm just missing a milk pitcher which is already on its way. The grinder is a Eureka Mignon Specialita which has been amazing for a classic espresso roast thus far. lelit anna pid - it has exact temperature control, it's relatively easy (but a bit of work) to adjust the OPV/pressure, it doesn't have too many fancy sensors or things that can easily break, the steaming works fine only 'downside' is that the portafilter is 57mm, which is not the standard/a lot of the more 'pro' accessories are not available. but you can get most things for this size: self-leveling tamper, puck screen, bottomless portafilter, precision baskets, etc
We've been using our Lelit Anna daily for over 5 years now. No issues with the machine and we absolutely love it.
Looking to make the jump to a dual boiler [Budget < 2500 USD] Long time reader but first time poster 🤓 Currently rocking Lelit Anna 2 with Niche Zero. Love the setup for consistency and quality of espresso but hate how long it takes to make my wife and I lattes each day (\~approx 10 minutes after coming to temp) We are 95% latte drinkers and at minimum make 2x lattes a day. Potentially another 2x at lunch and 2x decaf in the evening. I'm sure my workflow could improve to knock off some time, but I do think it's

If you've attempted to get your hands on the group head gaskets, I'm sure you've had the similar experience: in the US, you are stuck. … I could only find it on eBay, from Poland. 1stline had it with crazy shipping cost, and Canada won't ship to US due to tariffs.
Lelit Anna runs long on subsequent shots Hi All. Bought a Lelit Anna about six months ago and really love it, but I’ve noticed there is a big difference in shot time between subsequent shots when I use it. Without changing the grind size or dose (16.5g) the first shot runs short at less than 20 seconds, but the next runs super long at 45 and then over a minute for the third to get to a 2:1 ratio. I’ve tried preheating and running a blank shot but it doesn’t matter, and changing the dose or the tamp improves the
Lelit Anna (2) scratched top Does the top (cup holding part) of your Anna scratch too or am I doing something wrong ? Is there perhaps some plastic film I can take off or is that basically scratched metal I wont be able to fix (can't really see any film or peel anywhere) ? I tried wiping it but I think it's scratched. This photo is after me completely cleaning the top. I only used glass cups up there so idk what gives. I guess it's fine either way now, just wondering how other Anna users have it. Lelit Anna Le
Steam valve issue [Lelit Anna PID (PL41TEM)] Hi guys, The steam valve on my machine slowly started to turn more and more heavily. It's gotten to the point that twisting the knob by hand is basically not possible anymore. The knob generally has terrible ergonomics, but it used to turn smoothly at least. I've tried turning it using a wrench and then it actually steams just fine. Does anyone know if I can simply lubricate the valve, or the pin? Can I do that from the outside or do I have to open up the machine? Wha
New Lelit Anna won't pull water from group head on first use [Lelit Anna PL41TEM] As the title says, I got a new Lelit Anna PL41TEM yesterday, followed the manual step by step and after filling the boiler via the steam wand, no water will pull from the group head. I can hear the pump working, hot water is not an issue. I tried letting the machine cool down all the way and using really cold water to maybe get rid of Vapor lock, but no dice. Is there anything else I can try before I send it back under warranty?
Will I benefit from Dual Boiler [€1000-1200] Hello, Currently I have Lelit Anna Pl41TEM and I miss Preinfusion and better steam, and Temperature stability. I do maybe 2 or 3 coffees per day and I am quite ok with the Single Boiler workflow. Only when I have guests and have to do like 4-6 Cappuccinos its stressful but I manage, as i pull 4 Espresso shots and just steam two times. Also I cannot steam and pull a shot at the same time, the 30sec time saving and me missing the beautiful magic of the espresso flow :)

i have the lelit anna PID and i'm very happy with it, easy to maintain, not a lot of computer or fancy sensors inside apart from the PID itself only thing that is a bit of a deal breaker for some is that the portafilter is 57.5mm and not 58mm, which automatically means a lot of popular accessories won't fit it
Lelit Anna teething problems Hi I've had me Lelit Anna for a couple of months now and haven't got a single "normal" shot out of it - it's coming through too fast ie about 10 secs for 40ml/19g. I thought it might be my grinder being too coarse, long story short I bought some ready-ground for espresso from my local roastery, and it's still doing it! It's not getting any sort of pressure through the puck, but backflushing is working as expected ie its getting up to pressure. I've tried varying the basket, ta
Lelit Anna [Boiler won’t get hot enough] Hi! suddenly my lelit anna has stopped working, it never gets hot enough and I’m not sure what to do. I’ve had this machine for less than 6 months. I’ve tried the manual reset by holding the PID button pointing upwards whilst the machine was off, then turn it on, wait for PRS to appear, and then shut the machine off to hold the reset but that has not helped. Does anyone have any other tips to get this fixed please! lelit anna lelit anna
Pump start-up delay [Lelit Anna PL41TEM] Hello ! For some time now, the pump on my Lelit Anna PL41TEM has been taking a considerable amount of time to start up. When I press the ‘pump’ button, it takes between 5 and 20 seconds before I hear the sound of the pump starting up. In the attached video, it takes about 5 seconds, but it regularly takes more than 10 seconds. The pressure still builds up correctly, but this issue is relatively new and I’m worried that a part might fail in the near future. I
Lelit Anna steam wand leak issue solved (for now) What didn't work for me: changing the steam rod. Tried with two new rods, made the problem worse. My guess is that new threads on the replacement part don't tightly fit the worn threads inside the 3-way valve. So, a change of the whole assembly would be required. What worked for me: cleaning the OLD rod with descaling liquid, replacing the two O-rings on it with the rings from the new rod and lubricating threads and rings with silicone grease. The leak stopped, b
Heating Terminals burnt? [Lelit Anna PL41TEM] Hi all, I have a brand new Lelit Anna PL41TEM. I fear that the heating terminal connectors might be burnt. Can you please look at the photos and let me know if they look burnt? The issue I have is that the water temperature rises to really high levels, even though the PID is set to 93 °C. Also, when set to brew with coffee in the portafilter, the pressure doesn't rise at all, even though the coffee comes out. Lelit Anna PL41TEM Heating Terminals burnt? [Lelit Anna

Quick answers to the main review, complaints, buyer-fit, and comparison questions shoppers ask before choosing Lelit Anna.
About 57 mm (one owner gives 57.5 mm), not the common 58 mm, so a lot of popular accessories will not fit. Owners still find a self-leveling tamper, puck screen, bottomless portafilter and precision baskets in its size.
The evidence does not establish a cause. A new PL41TEM would not pull water through the group on first use, though the pump ran and hot water worked; letting it cool fully and using very cold water to clear a possible vapour lock did not help, and the owner was considering a warranty return.
Group-head gaskets can be hard to find: one US owner could only locate them on eBay from Poland, found one retailer with very high shipping costs, and could not order from Canada because of tariffs.
Yes: the OPV can be adjusted to change pressure, which is called relatively easy but a bit of work. No row describes the steps.
For one owner it was: after moving from a De'Longhi they fell in love with espresso again, found the price great and the performance what they wanted, with the boiler steaming the standout.
