- You make one or two milk drinks at a time.
- You are buying new with warranty support, or can diagnose a drip or a noise yourself.
Quick take
This Lelit Elizabeth review is built from owner reports on the espresso machine. Owners who talk about the machine as a whole mostly like it: better shots and more precision than an entry machine, a sturdy build, fair value, and two still happy after several years. The complaints are about upkeep and individual faults: leaks, drips and worn seals lead them, followed by brew pressure that overshoots its setting. Most come from troubleshooting threads, where owners post because something has gone wrong.

I think that Lelit Elizabeth has one of the ugliest looking designs for an espresso machine, like ever, in the history of all espresso machines, but still is an amazing unit! I still love it though, very sturdy, very functional, very effective, super consistent, love the way it works, and that's why I bought it. But man oh man, there wasn't a single day that I didn't think it's ugly, it's like the ugliest appliance in my entire kitchen. Every time I look at it, I can't be like - ohh what a gorgeous machine, l
From Gaagia Classic to Lelit Elizabeth I had Gaggia Classic for 4 years and since internet claims it's a very capable machine it must be true right ? right ? I got bored of it and didn't bring me any joy to use it so I bought Elizabeth. I couldn't decide between 2nd hand Bianca V2 or Elizabeth and went for Elizabeth due to space and my usecase. Immediately after first shot it feels much better much precise and much much capable than Gaggia. I should have switched sooner. Setting OVP is 5 minute job I lowered
4 Hole Steam Wand Tip for Lelit Elizabeth When I first got my Elizabeth, I was really happy with how fast I could steam my milk. I never thought I would ever need something stronger, but after a while, when I got better, I thought about buying a 4-hole tip for the steam wand. I found one on Maxicoffee for 10€, which is pretty cheap for that kind of upgrade. I've only made a couple of coffees, but it's so strong the milk is done in under 7 seconds. I had to turn the temperature down from 140° to 135° for a bit mo

Lelit Elizabeth PL92T group head tilted I got the Elizabeth used in very good condition on Amazon one month ago on Amazon with half price off. It was basically never used, maybe started once and that's it. The machine is great, but I now have one problem. I noticed that using the provided portafilter that splits in two I suddenly only get flow on the right side, the espresso doesn't come out on the left side. Weird, it didn't do that before. Then I looked and found the problem: suddenly the group head is tilted t
Why is my Lelit Elizabeth making this squeaking noise when backflushing? It started doing this a few weeks ago, have had the machine for about 9 months. It's only when the blind basket is in for backflushing. It doesn't do it when no portafilter is in place. Lelit Elizabeth Lelit Elizabeth
I have Grace (its same as victoria, but 57mm) and elizabeth as well. Steaming milk on elizabeth is quite slow, even though I setup my steam temp on max. But for one or two cups it's fine and you can do it parallel while making an espresso, so unless you wanna make a couple drinks in a row I don't really see a benefit in pruchasing much more expensive dual boiler machine, that's where elizabeth is great given it's price. Tbh I wouldn't even swap victoria for Elizabeth, seems like a waste of money to me. Depends on h

Lelit Elizabeth leaks constantly from solenoid valve? I've had my Elizabeth about 2-3 weeks and just noticed that water drips nearly constantly from the solenoid valve into the drip tray - it's a light stream when the machine is heating up but then continues at a slow drip even when off. Customer service for the place where I bought it says that this is normal. And that the Elizabeths drip a lot - only a problem if it's filling up the drip tray. Is this something others do see? It is a little bit frustrating since i bought the machine only 10 months ago Lelit Elizabeth Lelit Elizabe

Steam boiler connect leaking steam [Lelit Elizabeth] Hi fellow espresso lovers, Sadly, the steam boiler of my Lelit Elizabeth has been hissing for a while. Today, I opened the top and discovered the small tube connection of the steam boiler is leaking steam. You can see in the picture the problematic connection is tarnished. What should I learn in order to repair it myself? Could I source the needed spare parts myself? Or is it at the point where I should take it to a repair shop? Appreciate all suggest
Long over due update and new toy: Lelit Bianca v3 My Lelit Elizabeth broke a few months back and posted in this sub asking for some help. There were some suggestions but I didn't have the skills (or tools or time) to fix it so I brought it a local coffee store for them to take a look. They found problem after problem and the repair cost keeps on going up accordingly. They said they'd understand if I didn't want to proceed with the repair since it's now double the initial quote, but if I like they can recycle the m
High pressure spike into fast decay [Lelit Elizabeth v3] My machine spikes super high in pressure and than decays really fast, is it enough to reduce pressure inside? Weird noise from brand new Lelit Elizabeth Edit: The tech came home and opened up the machine. He took out the plunger I guess? from the solenoid area and manually operated the plunger a few times with a pin. He put it back and the sound came for the first pull. After that, the sound disappeared. I guess that solved the problem. Also, the designer who designed the top cover should be fired. What a terrible design. It took forever to seat the decorative seal properly. After multiple tries, it still not seated pro
It's a damn rectangle shaped steel box with more rectangles attached to its main body! And some of the edges on specific places are so sharp that they can easily cut me.
Lelit Elizabeth I have used this machine around 10times, and every time I lock the basket in it seems to go further and further to the right. Even when I first used the machine it never went to 6 o’clock it always went past it. Do u think I have the wrong size gasket ? I have had this machine before and it was a push to get it to 6 o’clock. Any advice ? It’s annoying because to interfere with the steam process I have to remove the basket first. I couldn't decide between 2nd hand Bianca V2 or Elizabeth and went for Elizabeth due to space and my usecase. … The water fill is pure PITA but I will print some funnel.
Brief comment to say: I dunno where you're going to find a Lelit Elizbeth for 1k unless you can find one used. I bought mine in 2020 for $1600 and they have not gone down in price. I also wasn't pleased with my Elizabeth. There's a fair bit of plastic and silicone tubing inside. I had issues with the buttons, the low water sensor (or something) broke, and the vent tube for the steam boiler split, so I had to replace that. Lots of leak problems. I ended up spending almost as much fixing it as I did purchasing

[long rant] I'm so tired of this. I have an expensive grinder and nice machine, but the variation in the shots' taste each time is absolutely horrendous. I get a delicious espresso about 60% of the time, but the rest is worse than a cheap fully automatic machine! What more do I need to do, I have spent so much money, do I need to put on a lab coat and analyze with a computer every single shot I do, I just want to drink delicious shots 90% of the time. GFCI is tripped when water pump runs [Lelit Elizabeth] My Lelit Elizabeth lately has been tripping the GFCI when the water pump tries to run. At first I thought it's because I spilled some water into some electrical components when I refilled the tank. But I took out the back panel and everything looks clean and dry. There's also no wear and tear, no rusting, no dust, frayed wiring, or leakage that I can see anywhere. I've had this machine for about 8 years now and this is the first major problem I've encountered

Products frequently compared alongside Lelit Elizabeth:
Lelit's E61 option; one buyer chose the Elizabeth over a used Bianca V2 for its smaller footprint
Cheaper single-boiler start point; an owner moving up found the Elizabeth more precise from the first shot
Quick answers to the main review, complaints, buyer-fit, and comparison questions shoppers ask before choosing Lelit Elizabeth.
Not clearly. The retailer of a machine two to three weeks old told its owner that Elizabeths drip a lot and that it only matters if the tray fills up, but the owner found a near-constant drip, even with the machine off, unusual enough to ask about. Treat that as the seller's view rather than a confirmed explanation, and raise a persistent drip under warranty.
The threads do not settle it. For the month-old machine with the fluttering gauge and odd noise, a technician worked the solenoid's plunger by hand, and after one more shot the sound was gone, which its owner took as the fix. The two overshoot reports end without a diagnosis, so it is unknown whether they are faults or normal behaviour under a puck.
Reports point both ways, and none names the version. Two owners are still happy after a few years and after four years, the second with a steam valve that no longer closes fully. On the other side, one machine ran about eight years before the GFCI started tripping whenever the pump runs, a five-year-old machine started leaking from the base, an owner who bought in 2020 spent almost as much on repairs as on the machine, and another broken machine turned up problem after problem in the shop until the repair quote doubled and its owner moved to a Bianca V3. Buy with warranty support and budget for seals and valves over the years.
For one owner it made an already quick wand much stronger: a 4-hole tip bought for about €10 steamed milk in under seven seconds after a couple of drinks, enough that they lowered the steam temperature from 140° to 135° for more working time. That is a modified setup, so expect the stock tip to be slower.
One buyer weighed exactly this and chose the Elizabeth over a second-hand Bianca V2 because of space and how they use it. The evidence here does not compare the two machines' reliability or shots, so decide on counter space and the features you will actually use.
