I have an Delonghi Eletta explore I'm happy with. You'll likely find the machine wont be the issue here. Nespresso pod coffee mixes are highly curated - so if you're preferential to a specific pod you're unlikely to be able to get the same flavour from using beans in your machine. My fav was the purple arpeggio pod. I then went down the rabbit role of trying to find beans which come close to this. I'm trialing a couple now which are decent but not quite there.

I've tried asking Gemini and it suggested pulling a double espresso using the finest grind setting of 1, intensity 5 (so that I get 13-15g of coffee), and pressing the ‘stop' button at around 22g so that the finished weight is around 30-32g.
