I have an Delonghi Eletta explore I'm happy with. You'll likely find the machine wont be the issue here. Nespresso pod coffee mixes are highly curated - so if you're preferential to a specific pod you're unlikely to be able to get the same flavour from using beans in your machine. My fav was the purple arpeggio pod. I then went down the rabbit role of trying to find beans which come close to this. I'm trialing a couple now which are decent but not quite there.

DeLonghi Eletta Explore i have this machine since 6-7months. As far as I'm concerned it is ok , only main issue is that a normal espresso is too long,way too long even at ninimum settings... every time i have to stop it before she finishes to pour the coffee. i tried a lot of configuration to satisify my wife taste but I'm giving up..i cannot,she prefers the Espresso from the "Nespresso mickey mouse basic machine" with Borbone Capsules. Espresso shot too weak on Delonghi Eletta Explore I'm using a Delonghi Eletta Explore, and I think the espresso is too weak. I've tried asking Gemini and it suggested pulling a double espresso using the finest grind setting of 1, intensity 5 (so that I get 13-15g of coffee), and pressing the ‘stop' button at around 22g so that the finished weight is around 30-32g. I followed this and I'm still not sure if this is as good as it gets. I watched a video of ‘Tom's Coffee Corner' on YouTube and the shot he got with
