Best For
- You want espresso, milk drinks and longer coffees from one machine.
- You are happy to re-dial the grinder when you switch beans.
- You have checked the clearance under your upper cabinets.
Quick take
The De'Longhi Dinamica Plus is a super-automatic espresso machine, and the owners here describe a capable all-rounder: very good coffee once it is dialled in, and every drink made well even if none stands out. The evidence is thin, with nine reports from six threads, so treat this as an early read. The main caution is watery espresso, which owners describe both after a change of beans and on an older machine.
Fully automatic bean-to-cup espresso machine with a touchscreen, app connectivity and an automatic milk system.

The positive reports describe competent all-round drinks rather than standout espresso.
Watery espresso is the reported weakness, after a bean change and on an older machine. • Total evidence snippets: 9 • Updated Oct 12, 2026

Three threads carry the praise; they describe a machine that does everything well rather than one thing brilliantly.
Resetting Dinamica Plus grinder quantity. Bought the unit second hand replacing 2025 Magnifica unit and been really happy with the Doppio+ and the milk base drinks. In my opinion, the Dinamica makes a better espresso than the Magnifica it replaces. Was watching a review if the Primadonna Aromatic the other day and the reviewer mentioned that the mid to higher end machine can produce 15-16gr of grinned beans which equate to 10-11sec. This got me curious and tried measuring the Dinamica and only get 8sec. The sam
I have fairly low clearance to the upper cabinets due to having the countertops installed higher than normal. I currently have a DeLonghi Dinamica Plus which fits just fine. I do have to slide it out to add beans, but that’s just once a week or so.
[r/superautomatic] Congrats on the purchase. I my self just bought a second hand Dinamica Plus (older bluetooth) version which has done around 1000 cups. I'm coming from a 2024 Magnifica with manual frother (got it hrand new) and got to say the Dinamica perform better in many ways. Using the same beans and dialed the grinders the same way, the espresso on the Dinamica has
Delonghi Dinamica plus and coffee efficiency My wife and I purchased a Delonghi Dinamica plus a few months ago when they were being sold off/discontinued here in Canada. Got it for $1000 CAD plus tax with free shipping, which we thought was great deal, and so far we've been really impressed with it. It doesn't do any drink exceptional, but it does every drink very well, and since our purchase we've used our Moccamaster drip machine very little. I don't see many posts regarding this, but the Delonghi is super effic
I've had a De'Longhi Dinamica Plus from Amazon.ca for almost 4 years. Overall I've been happy with it … Things I liked: \- Very good coffee when everything was dialed in \- Removable brew group
The critical reports are few, and the watery-shot reports lack a confirmed cause.
This got me curious and tried measuring the Dinamica and only get 8sec. … So I removed all the beans, clean the infuser and ran a few empty runs of Doppio. Put the beans back in and voila, the grinding ran almost 13sec
Switched from Jura A1 to De'Longhi Dinamica Plus - Flavor Change Long time Jura A1 owner. It died back in August and I replaced the machine with a De'Longhi Dinamica Plus. We're using the same exact beans and both people in our household who use it are not loving the flavor coming out of the machine. We're using the exact same beans (have gone through multiple bags) from our same local roaster. We've had the machine up and running since \~8/14 so I'd imagine any thing involving the machine getting broken in has ha
Under extraction? - delonghi dinamica plus As the title suggests, the espresso from my delonghi dinamica plus is pulling very quickly and coming out watery. We often experiment with different beans and adjust the grind size accordingly and have had great results for the last year but for the last 2 bags of coffee we have it set to the finest setting and it's still not pulling properly. Not sure if relevant but the last 2 bags have been natural rather than washed. Any ideas on what the issue might be? delonghi din
it recently developed an issue where espresso became very watery and inconsistent for the past few months. … they ultimately determined it couldn't be repaired after I filed a claim.

Quick answers to the main review, complaints, buyer-fit, and comparison questions shoppers ask before choosing De'Longhi Dinamica Plus.
It can fit under low ones. An owner whose countertops sit higher than normal, leaving little clearance to the upper cabinets, says it fits just fine, but they have to slide it out to add beans, roughly once a week.
One machine gave almost four years of very good coffee before its espresso turned watery and inconsistent, and after a claim was filed it was judged not repairable. Another owner bought a second-hand unit with around 1,000 cups on it. That is too little to estimate a typical lifespan.
One owner who moved from a 2024 Magnifica with a manual frother to a second-hand Dinamica Plus says the Dinamica performs better in many ways, and that with the same beans and the grinders set the same way, its espresso compares favourably. A later post describing the same kind of swap, a second-hand Dinamica Plus replacing a 2025 Magnifica, reaches the same verdict on its espresso; it may come from the same owner, so treat this as one comparison rather than two.
Less favourably on taste, in one household's experience. After their Jura A1 died, they replaced it with a Dinamica Plus and, on the exact same beans from the same roaster across several bags, neither person using it is loving the flavour. It is a single comparison, and the post does not say what grind or strength settings were tried.
One owner found its grind time had shrunk to about 8 seconds. Emptying the beans, cleaning the infuser and running a few empty Doppio cycles before refilling brought it back to almost 13 seconds, and a bigger puck. That is one owner's reset, not a documented procedure, but it is a cheap thing to try before blaming the beans when shots start to taste thin.
